Professor Skank is a renowned Greek dub producer who has made significant contributions to the global dub music scene. Born and raised in Greece, he began experimenting with the genre at a young age, utilizing a 4-track recorder in the early 90s. His meeting with the legendary Mad Professor was a turning point in his career career. Recognizing Skank’s talent, Mad Professor mentored him and provided access to the legendary Ariwa Studios. This collaboration allowed Skank to work with renowned artists like Max Romeo, Zion Train, Brinsley Ford (Aswad), Love Grocer, Earl 16, Vibronics, and Afrikan Simba. In 2006, Skank released his debut solo album, “Industrial Democracy,” through Universal Music. Since then, he has continued releasing music, remixing tracks, and performing live shows worldwide. His unique dub, reggae, and electronic music blend has earned him a dedicated following.
